Out at Dillon this morning and afternoon, on a 7m with 3-5 foot faces and all by my lonesome.

...except just got home... Was unloading the truck when I noticed a bunch of wet sand drippings and a bunch of LARGE scratches on top and across the rear spoiler of my ride! JQI* There were some wind surfers there and one guy insisted on de-rigging (or what ever the fu*k they do) in the middle of the parking lot. He must have drug his sh*t across my truck on the way there!!! WTF?!!! Aren't they supposed to start on the other side of the bay?!!! ====

I saw that too Nick - the waves at OB were total kook slop by the time I got out of work

Today was insane but what's even crazier is 70 degrees tomorrow and 75 degrees Wed in SF both with plenty of wind

Some sub-tropical city kiting might be in order... XZSD

I went to Berkeley around 2-ish and it was 9m windy but very North. No one else was there so I headed over to Alameda. Upon arrival, there was light wind and a lot of glum faces but a few more psychically gifted than me were hopeful so I rigged up. By the time I launched, it came up nicely and ended up being a great 12m session--super warm, sunny and not nearly as gusty as one would've expected.

alameda was WARM. got there around 2 after passing on other east bay sites. everyone was riding or rigging 9s. fortunately, i only had a 10 so I made it back to where I started before it died to almost nothing. people that had launched at the shack looked like they had better wind (or bigger kites). laid on the beach soaking up rays for 1/2 hour then the wind clocked back around. was much stronger than earlier. rode for an hour more.

Got to Alameda just in time to land a few kites. It must have turned off very very quick because I would have sworn I saw a few 8m/9m's floating on the water down-wind.

Def need to invest in a raceboard to up my kite days. Or build myself an Alaia. :)
