i watched L.M.G. stop one day, kiting at a land locked salt pound and pull out posts by hand, with his kite in the air ....
maybe we need to get him to rip it out  =*

Okay, this was the stick I pullled out of the bay. I think THIS looks more like a spear. So, nobody is missing their North bar? Will trade for beer... || :::)

Living close to third & a fan of this type of mission, I'm down. Currently traveling, I return on Tuesday. There's a nice -.30' low low on the tables for Wednesday @ 7:30a. In the absence of earlier ambition, I'll be there w/ tools & handle it Wed.

-thx for the pics & treasure map.

Wash saw off in fresh water after use.

I have no experience at this sort of thing and no tools, but if you (i.e., anyone) want to take a crack at this and desire an assistant, let me know.

That's definitely not something that's desirable at a kiting spot. Was this right in the launch zone at Point Emery?

I think I can do it this next week, can anyone post when we will see our lowest tides for Berkeley this week? Seems to be in afternoons lately?

Just a heads up
If your wanting to help you could as you wait for wind to bulid or come in
start picking up drift wood and drage it more on land
I like to stack it on the north side of the beach and close to the bay trail
Ollie Usually organizes a beach cleanup
But he's busy right now and hopefully will have his hands full soon
So when we wait for wind we can clean up a bit

Yea, That "spear" was right in the LZ. Like I said, I'm down there almost every day. I'll start movin' some drift wood and do some beach clean up. Good excuse for me to get out of my truck and walk around. %$

I also want to hit Toll Plaza. :chores-vacuum:

3rd Ave mission accomplished. Rocked the poles a couple times & pulled them up. This way there are no sharp fresh cuts left behind, right at or below the surface. Also spent an hour removing trash, rebar, glass, etc from from the launch area. After filling two trash bags there's obviously more to be done, but it's a good start. -cheers
