Winds looked a bit SW so I just checked the webcam to see what was happening out there, and noticed there's caution tape in front of the shack. Anyone know what's up?

Sand moving, but it doesn't matter if it's at OB or alameda, I never saw it stopping folks from getting in the water.

Below see the actual posting from the park:

From March 18 through 22, and April 2 through 5, portions of the public beach at Crown Memorial State Beach in Alameda will be closed from Park Street northeast to the bathhouse. The closure will accommodate the annual sand-moving project in which work crews will move accumulated sand and spread it along the beach. For everyone’s safety, it is important that the public stay off the beach while scrapers and bulldozers are working. The beach at Crab Cove will not be affected and will remain open. Looks to me if they are done for the day / not really at this particular spot with the heavy machinery you can "loosely interpreted" probably go. The red was added by me
