Its time to check you gear

Yep, its time to check all your gear again after a good and fulfilled season.
Clean your kites and check every little bit of them. Use sailtape for smaller holes you collected up over the season to ensure your kite rolls well next year. Check your lines / bars / pulleys / bridles ... everything. Get new lines / new pulley / new whatever if in doubt if its good for more - typically once you realize that you have some wear it fails really quickly and then you hope its not in a bad moment ...
Take your time for doing that. As it is remarkable to see what you miss even if you think you pay attention to your gear when you go out / in. You just dont have the focus as if you dedicate a few hours without the change of getting into the water.
Remark all name tags on your boards / kites. Spray a clear cover paint over your board name tag as this will make it last at least one season. Check you boards for deep scratches and be ready with epoxy to fill the deep dings.

Going through my pile I found one ripped strut (!!!) about 8 small holes, one larger panel cut and barely readable name tags on the boards . So worth checking it out.
