Ozone Travel Announces Grand Prize

Post by steve » Tue Oct 23, 2012 9:50 pm

Karen Beber, owner and founder of OzoneTravel.com is pleased to present the Grand Prize for the 2012 Cabrinha Race Series. For those who don’t know Karen, she and Ozone Travel are HQ’d in Miami. She is an expert on where to kite, stay, eat, party and how to get to where ever you want to go in Brazil. She speaks Portuguese and knows everyone.necessary to make your Brazil trip a memorable one.

5-NIGHT STAY AT THE POUSADA BELLA JERI, JERICOACOARA, BRAZIL (for two including breakfast)

Jericoacoara, recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, has long been known as one of the most consistently windy places in the world, as well! Located 4 hours from Fortaleza, Jericoacoara is a chic, cool, Bohemian-like village where, every evening, on top of the Sunset Dune, as the brilliant sun descends into the sea, visitors from around the world meet to celebrate the day.

Jeri, as it is affectionately known, is a great day time playground - especially for wind-addicts! Lots of great kiting options from which to choose: Launch just beyond the Sunset Dune and downwind through the waves and smooth water towards Guriu.. or keep going and arrive to Tatajuba! Or head to the enormous, wide open beach of Prea and ride the open water. Or, if flat water is what you seek, head to the lagoon and have your way with the day! Night time in Jeri is as much a playground as are the days- quite the tourist destination, there is no shortage of bars, restaurants, shops and “caipirinha kiosks” up and down the streets of sand.

The Pousada Bella Jeri, http://www.bellajeri.com.br, is owned and run by Marcio and Paula, from Jeri Off-Road, and is one of the most charming, comfortable, quiet and well-located pousadas in all of Jeri. On the side street away from the noise and parties, everything from the Bella Jeri is an easy walk. Rooms have a/c, hot water, WiFi, frigo-bar (stocked refrigerator) and incredibly comfortable beds!! Marcio and Paula are always available to help with anything you may need - transfers, day-trips, downwinders, special occasions or just good conversation. It’s an amazing NE Brazil experience.

The Cabrinha Race Series is sponsored by Cabrinha, Ozone Travel, Captain Kirk’s and hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club
