Update 9/26: 40,000 emails, broken fax machine, website crashes -- your voice was heard! California Fish & Game directs staff to attend the upcoming California Coastal Commission meeting on October 10th in Oceanside, to make sure everyone in the state knows they will not be tolerating any destructive activity in our Marine Protected Areas off the coast, such as the newly minted Point Buchon State Marine Reserv

Recently, whales, dolphins and porpoises have been showing up en masse on the central coast. Do you think they are trying to tell us something? If you live in California or care about the environment, please help and don't let seismic testing precedence be set on the Central Coast. Besides causing mass devastation to marine life permanently, all water activity needs to be halted in an area to be determined when they are testing. This means no boating, kitesurfing, surfing, no dogs swimming in water, etc. San Onofre coastline is next....
