Put together my first kiteboarding video with my GoPro Hero. I'm riding out at 3rd on two different days, including my first weekend going strapless. Plenty of "poopy position" shots and finished it off with a montage of wipeouts.

Enjoy!

Re: My first kiteboarding video
I enjoyed the last bit with the crashes. Really hard to get interesting shots with the GoPro, you have to be super creative. I saw you mounted it on a bar at one point and holding the bar in your hand, that is a step in the right direction. Don't mount the gopro on your board or helmet, makes for meh shots unless you are crashing. Editing shows signs of promise. Try using a Camelbak and pvc pipe to get the camera away from you:

Having said all this, your first outing with a GoPro was way better than mine

Hahaha! I enjoyed the crash where the board keeps going without you.

Haha, yeah, that was a good crash.
I know what you mean about being tricky to find good content from GoPro footage. I spent a lot of time last winter figuring out what works while snowboarding. Definitely ditched nearly all helmet shots and forward facing board shots only made for nice slow-motion movements when the snow looked like waves. My best footage was just putting the bike mount onto a 4 foot bamboo pole.
My next try I think will be mounted on the bar.
