Anyone ever kite at Rodeo Beach (just north of the Point Bonita lighthouse in the GG recreation area)?

I was out on a hike around there today and the wind was ripping but no kites were up. It looked like an awesome place. Some waves, huge beach, not very crowded, wind seemed consistently on-side-on at 25-30 kts.

Is it banned there or something?

Beach is sheltered in a typical spring nw. Wind would be best on south side of beach or outside - id put $ on the fact its fluky on the inside(where the waves are)- ive surfed here a million times
