Somebody stop me

ok, it's been almost 4 weeks since I ripped my hamstring. Doctor was impressed this week by my recovery so far "A+" in terms of regained strength and mobility. He had initially forecasted it would be at least 6-8 weeks (up to 12 worst case) before I could get back to kiting, but I think a routine of high protein, really good rehab exercises and especially daily hours of flatwater SUP paddling greatly accelerated the healing process.
But.....the recommendation was still that I lay off for one more week before kiting again, especially in the waves.....but........South Swell.......I......don't know......if I can be .......sensible.......and not stupid.......
should lay off for one more week before I go again......but.......south swell......can't stop thinking about it.........arhgggggg
Somebody stop me.....was offered to go on a sailboat race tmrw.....more practical.....but.......but.......fun factor not comparable........
Go on, tell me I'm an idiot. Please. Stop me. Need intervention.........tie me up and put me on the boat.......
Appreciate your health and make the most of it you lucky buggers.......
