I broke a steering line on my 12m Rally bar recently and am looking for inexpensive, reliable replacement.
I found a replacement set on Slingshot website:
http://ride.slingshotsports.com/CSS-23-m-Line-Set $220 for the set is kinda pricey, but I know they will fit perfectly...
anyone have an alternative they'd recommend?

Check out Switch kites website. They have line sets for about $65. They are equal length sets. Just be sure that will work for your slingy setup. (I don't know their bars).

That will be also my next replacement line set. So if you get them please let us know how they really are. DONT get the cheap BEST lines as they are really shitty - REALLY - not worth spending your money. G

My wife has a set of 20m switch lines. They look good and so far no problems, but she does not have many sessions on them.

I borrowed a 6M RPM at Waddell 2-3 weekends ago and ran Switch extensions to it. I just had to knot the leader lines at the end to make them plug in but the kite flew fine once trimmed. Pretty sure the steering lines were direct plug and play If I were in your shoes I would find cheapest steering line replacements you can and just throw those on - use trim and handle-side tuning to make sure the setup flies okay (you probably will due to relative line stretch), then next season get a whole new bar / line set Steering lines are also a really easy replacement with not a lot of complexity around compatibility because of the tunability in length at the bar end

Always easy to see why this is the best sport and community out there... as well as one hell of an admin. Right on, Ollie.
