Crissy end of season warning

Hello, as we approuch fall; September and October is some of the best kiteboarding at Crissy as the fog goes away and we get very steady winds, BUT the best time is from 3-5pm, after that it can shut off like a light switch...do not get greedy and stay out too long....DO NOT be the last one back to the beach.....if you see the group run for the beach you had better do so too.

Knowledge of the currents is vital, your situational awareness is very important, keep looking back at the beach, and a count of who else is out on the water and were they are.

There is countercurrent inside Anita's rock, right?
So if it's ebbing in the channel it's flooding close to the beach and vice versa, right?
I think we should just start putting a system of buoys and ropes for the last 100 yards.

Vincent from the current heat maps I've seen it looks like there is a counter current at the beginning of an ebb / flood but eventually it moves to neutral and then to match the channel as the tide shift progresses

Hey Crissy people - would anyone be open to showing an intermediate kiter what is up with Crissy this Thursday/Friday afternoon in exchange for some beer?

I'm very comfortable with 3rd and Sherman, pretty confident that Crissy will pose no problem, but would love to have someone to talk to first day I go out (and radio the Coast Gaurd in case things go... bad).

I'm excited to see what not disgusting water is like! 3rd = ii()

Dan the only rule at Crissy is no board leashes or Go Joe's - unless you're riding a raceboard
