I'll crosspost this from ikitesurf, I saw a different thread where people started to gather information and to look out for each other, sadly I have to add this case to it:

Happened in sfbay area (berkeley, north of campus) yesterday

Genetrix Origin 9m (no bar) and Cabrinha Crossbow 11 including bar (2010) missing.

The crossbow has a red leading edge with different color red patches along the leading edge (professional repair)

The Cabrinha bar has my phone number on it. Not sure what channel they try to get rid of the kites but if seen on craigslist / ebay please notify me or the police. Thank you very much!

Weird... I thought only Paul rode Genetrix. :D

Seriously though, bummer. Been a string of breakins in the East Bay lately, almost like the tweakers have figured out kite gear is worth something. Will keep my eyes peeled on CL and when I'm up there. Good luck.
