It's kind of reassuring to know that I'm not the only dummy looking at what the wind is doing even when I'm at work and that I can't go ride.
I'm still checking it from home cause I can't go to work.....and will be out of the water for probably 6 weeks at least, talk about torture.
When landing strapless airs (even little ones), it is advisable to have both feet on the board. Port tack, fully powered, back foot came off board on landing, left foot hyperextended over my head. Shit even if I were a 12 year old girl I don't think I could flex like that. Severe hamstring tear. Thanks to all that helped me out at Sherman on Sunday with landing, gear take down and carrying my stuff back to vehicle, Motrin and medicinal beer.
I always wondered what would happen if I blew the landing like that.......but drool factor is definitely increased when you're out for weeks I'm finding, and I'm still stupid enough to keep checking it.
